On our vacation, I purchased the shutters for my window die from Memory Box! They are fabulous! I have several ideas on how to use them, besides as shutters. More to come on that! I used several Marianne Design dies for my flower box. Oh, the flower box is from Memory box too! You can't tell from the picture - but I used my crimper for the curtains. This is a funky fold card. Of course, that is Tilda, peeking out the window-a stamp from Magnolia! /The inside will say " from our house to your house"-with an Easter sentiment. More shots below-

Easter Gate Card
I love getting back into my studio! I lose track of time when I am working on a new project. I am loving the new Heartfelt Creations dies I purchased recently. They have instructions on their site on how to make a Gate card with their dies. But I own a Sizzix Big Kick machine. I wanted my card to be the same dimensions that they use with their instructions but my machine is not big enough. I had to make the center of the Gate fold card separate and then add the sides. I created a 1/4 inch flap on each side of the center. I added the flaps with glue and then decorated! On the way to Florida, we stopped at the fabulous craft store- Absolutely Everything. It is located in Topsfield, Mass. I love that place. I bought several new dies from the Memory Box line. The purple swirls above the sentiment is from their line. The hiding bunny is from Spellbinder's. I have a few more Easter cards to make!

Disney Vacation Slide show
We are back from our vacation in Florida! We had a fabulous time! We stayed at Beach Club at Disney World. Our first day we walked to Epcot and went to the Flower show that was taking place. Above are just a few of the pictures I took of the beautiful topiary and flowers around Epcot! I can't wait for Spring to arrive here in Maine. It has been so long since I have seen green to say nothing of flowering plants. I did come home with some great ideas for gardening that even I can use for our little back yard area and front porch! If these photos don't make you wish for Spring- nothing will!!

Friends are Forever!
One of my friends fell and broke her ankle! She is going to have to go to rehab for a while to get help with recovery. I was in the middle of making another, yes another, Cascading card and decide it might be nice to send one to her! I am hoping this will cheer her up ! She will be out of work for at least a month!
Here is a side view! I love the color of the papers I used- It is almost a Coral color! I think this would make a great wedding card too! I used a Memory Box die for some of the edging.
I recently purchased dies from Heartfelt Creations! You can use them to make a great Gate card. But I really love how they look on this Cascading card. I am sure I will use them again. Look below to see the actual dies.

Mickey Mouse!
It won't be long before we go visit Mickey! We have become a little obsessive in collecting Mickey Mouse stuff! Flea marketing has become another obsession and it is a great place to find unique Mickeys! Of course, not all of them came from flea markets. Some were gifts from friends, some were purchased on ebay. The telephone below is a working phone that when it rings - Mickey's voice comes on to tell you " You have a phone call"! My grandson love to push the button to hear Mickey's voice-over and over again!
I love the large Mickey teapot below. The plate is from the 1950's - found at a flea market. The Wizard is my husband's favorite.
How can you not smile when you see this collection of Mickey's. It makes a bad day- better! My favorite Mickey is in the tuxedo! Another fav is the Jim Shore Mickey's! I love them!
