Olaf Pyramid Card

I have been working on preparing projects for the Craft Fair my sister's and I are planning to do in June.  I have always loved making Pyramid cards or Tent cards, as some people call them.  I decided to try and recreate Olaf using Punch Art.

In case,  you have never made one of these fun cards- I have attached a link to a tutorial here-

It really wasn't  too hard since I have tons of punches and dies that help.  It's fun to see what dies or punches work the best.  Below are pictures that show the production in process and a few of the tools I used to make Olaf.

Here's a view of the side with the sentiment.   I love this quote!!

You can see that I used a Snow Swirl die for added interest on the other side.  I think it's from Memory Box.   I have just clipped the card together so they will stand up for this photo shoot.

But Pyramid cards can still be folded so they can be mailed.  I ran some Scor tape along the edge
of one of the panels so the recipient can put it together once they open the card.

I am planning on making a few more Pyramid cards and will plan to share those with you too!  Hope
everyone has a fantastic day!

Impossible Cards

My friend, Joan, is retiring at the end of the month and I wanted to make her a card that was a little different.  The  Impossible Card just fit!   This is the first time I have made this type of card.  I did use some stickers that I had from this paper line.  I thought they were really pretty.

It is made with a single sheet of paper!  This one is 6 x 6 but you can make any size you like.
I used Penny Black's stamp of the possum under a flower.  I love any and all Penny Black stamps!

You will find Maymay's  tutorial here-

I think she explains thing so well.  Here is another Impossible Card.  For this one, I used some stickers I bought in Florida.

Now, I use a base for my Impossible card but you don't have to add it.  I have seen a lot that don't. But I think it adds some stability to the card and another pop of color.

I think I will probably sell this one at the Craft Fair my Sisters and I are doing on June 9th.
I have been working up a storm getting projects ready to sell.  I will share them once I have more done.

You can see the Giraffe better in this photo.

I had to give this card a try- you can find lots of them on Pinterest.  You can even make double and triple Impossible Cards.  I may have to try one of those too!  Hope you have a fun day!

Grand Dome 3D card

I recently purchased Spellbinder's 3D Grand Dome die!  I wanted to try something different and ended up making this Birthday card.  I cut several (6) of the main die out and folded them in half and then glued them to each other.   I also used the Happy Birthday die that comes separately.

I did add my own sentiment to the back of the card.   The bead at the top is secured by a
thin wire that runs down the middle of the card and holds the sentiments in place.  The picture below shows the die that I used to make the card.

It still folds flat for mailing but you wouldn't want to add the bead unless you want to pay more for mailing.  I may add some more embellishments to the card since there is plenty of room!

I am working on lots of projects for an upcoming Spring Craft sale in June.   I love that I am going to be using dies and stamps that I haven't used in awhile.   I think I am going to be busy right up until the fair.  Should be fun!!

UPDATE:

I took my own advice and added some flowers to this card.  You can see flowers at any angle.  I used Lawn Fawn's Fab Flowers.  I love the butterflies in this set!

Home Again!

We have been home for about a week and I am still getting used to this cold weather!  After being in Florida for 3 months- I really took that warm weather for granted.  We did  miss most of the cold while we were gone but it snowed this week!  Plus the temps are only in the 40's!!  Brrr!!

Oh, well, I know Spring is coming and I do see some plants peeking through the snow.  I worked on these frames while I was in Florida but I wanted to show you the sentiments I have added since I got home.  I used Karen Burniston's Woodland Animals on the frame above.  They are sooo cute!

My sisters and I are going to be doing a craft fair in June.  We are working to get some inventory to have for the sale.  I used Heartfelt Creation's Arianna Bloom die for the flower below.

I am hoping that people will be looking for Graduation cards in June.  We have done Christmas Craft Fairs but I have never done one in the Spring.  I think we will have Wedding cards along with some Albums and cute Boxes for gifts.

I am glad to be home!  I think it is true, " There's no place like home"!
