Bendi Fold Card
Bibiana over at Splitcoast Stampers has a great tutorial on how to make the Bendi Fold Card! Her card is beautiful! I thought I would give it a try. I used a couple of Memory Box dies for the deer at the front and the tree at the back. The fence is from Sizzix. I really love the 3D effect it gives the card. I have decided to make cards up ahead of the time I need them- instead of running around trying to come up with an idea for a card- that I would need right away! So this card is for a Birthday but I will add the sentiment later. Here is the link to Bibiana's card and tutorial-

Here are a few more pictures of my card-
This picture shows one side of the card open. The tabs keeps the card closed.
You can see with both sides open- There is plenty of room to add a sentiment and more! You could even use the back of the card!
These cards will fold easily and slide right into an envelope! I am thinking I might try another Bendi Fold Card. I love the name of this style of card, too!! It' is easy to remember!

What a beautiful card! I saw the link on SCS but didn't open it because I have to mail all my cards. I had no idea this would also lay flat for mailing. Thanks for displaying that..will now have to try my hand at creating a Bendi fold.
ReplyDeleteReally cute! I love that it looks great open AND closed!

Chris,
ReplyDeleteFantastic card! I just love the 3D effect and those Memory Box dies. A beautiful creation for a lucky person.
Great Bendi card. I've made a couple after viewing Bibiana's tutorial, and seeing your cute card is inspiring me to make one for an upcoming birthday.
