I made a couple of Card in a Box Thank you cards! I have had this Sizzix snowman die forever! I decided to use it in my Thank you cards this year. I bought the Card in a Box die a while ago so it makes putting together this card really easy. I even used some stickers I had in my stash.
The card above was another version of the 1st card. I added the scalloped edges to this card. But it is essentially the same card. The picture below shows the sentiment that I used on all the cards.
Just to change it up a bit- I made a Snowflake card using Stampin Up's stamps and die from last year. I still love to use these - they are embossed with gold embossing powder. I love the look with the Christmas paper.
Here is another view-
The new year has begun! Hard to believe it is 2017!! This year will bring some changes for me as I am looking forward to retiring in this new year. I have worked in the banking world for over 30 years! But it will mean more time in my Craft room!! My husband has already retired. I have him working on some projects around the house. I wanted to share a picture of the Headboard he made for our bedroom!!! We have been looking everywhere for the right one - he decided he could make it and he did! I love how it came out!
Now he is working on making a Kitchen Center Island. He already has it framed out- He is taking a break in this picture.
I will share more pictures of the finished product! I can't wait! Happy New Year to everyone!
Love the cards as I always do and am looking forward to seeing posts more often and keeping up with your creativity

ReplyDeleteGreat cards Chris! Card in a box is one of my favorites to make! Love that you show your projects and Tom's!
ReplyDeleteYou do really nice card in the box designs. Tom has been doing pretty well in the design department, too. The head board and island are so well done. Can't wait to see the island after you have painted it
