Easter 2020

We are still in Florida.  This is our 3rd year coming to Florida to avoid the winter back in Maine.  So this year we decided to purchase a condo here in North Port.  We have had a lot of fun this year right up until the virus set in.  Most everything has closed or cut back on hours.  We are closing on the condo this week but not sure when we will travel back to Maine.   Right now we plan on staying put until better news is better.

So in the mean time I am working on project and cards!!  The above are Easter cards for our Grandsons.   The file was free from The Dreaming Tree!  I love that company!

These pictures are of the card I sent to our niece.  She loves to dance so I thought this card in the
box would make a nice birthday card.  Hope she liked it!

I made so more of these cute golf carts.  I plan on using some of them for Father's Day cards at our Craft Fairs.  Of course, that will have to be in the future since they are all cancelled for now.

I also worked on the adorable Album in a Box.  I used Graphic 45's Bedtime Store paper collection.  I love this paper!  You can find Graphic 45's tutorial here

The instructions are easy to follow.  Make sure you watch it all the way through first.

I did add handles on the sides - I bought them from Butter Bee Scraps.  I used paper fasteners and Gorilla glue to add them to the sides.   I am so glad I am able to do these many craft projects. That has kept me sane while we are social distancing.   We are not able to do many of the fun activities here in Florida since so many places are closed.  I am not playing golf right now but go on many long walks.  The weather has been wonderful!

This card is also from The Dreaming Tree.  I lost a friend and former co-worker this month.  She was such a lovely person.  My heart is so sad to know that I will not see her or talk to her again.  She bravely fought lung cancer for several months.  I also lost an aunt to the same cancer this month.  I will miss them both ! It has been a difficult month to say the least, but I have faith that brighter days are coming. I look to my faith for strength and pray for all who are ill or have lost loved ones.
Sorry to end this post on such a sad note but am thankful for all the many blessings in my life.  I pray you all stay happy and healthy.
