Hello Kitties!

I am working on some ideas for a Mother's Day card.  I found the idea for this card on Pinterest.  You can see the template I used here-

I had to increase the size until it seemed to be the right size for my card.  I used Cheery Lynn Designs Trellis die on both sides of the card.  I also used their trailing vines that I cut up and placed on the Trellis.  The flowers are from a punch I have had for a long time.   I hope Mom likes this card but I think I am the one who loves cats.  At one time my husband and I had three cats. I think I like the black kitty best since we used to have one just like that!   We don't have any now but sometimes I miss having a kitty around....   Here is another pic!

Here is the inside of my Mother's Day card with the sentiment-

This kitty is a Memory Box die!

Disney Paper Bag Album

I love the Paper Bag Albums that Ginger at My Sisters Scrapper has on her blog-

http://mysistersscrapper.com/2013/01/vertical-paper-bag-mini-album-series-getting-started/

She really does wonderful instructions that are easy to follow.  I made one Paper Bag Album before this one and decided I needed to make one for our Disney Trip.  I am still not done adding pictures and I have lots of journaling that I want to do but I thought I would share what I have done so far!   I taped this video and retaped it about 3 times because when I would listen to it...all I heard were "um's" and "ah's".  I could never do this for a living!   Anyway, I hope you enjoy my Paper Bag Album!

Doll Stamp Birthday Tag!

I hope everyone had a great Easter!  I have been working on my album of our Disney Trip!  I hope to do a quick video to show you how it came out.  In the meantime, I just  love the new Doll Stamps from Prima!  They are the design of Julie Nutting- her blog is on my side bar.  I only have one for now but I can't wait to try some of her other stamps.  They are all really cute!  I made this tag for my sister's upcoming birthday! The tags are from Prima too.  They are on the larger size to fit the doll stamps.  I put this tag on an easel so I could take the picture. I saw this doll stamp's dress colored with Copic markers on Pinterest. The added lines make it look like a Chiffon dress.    I used several Stampin up stamps to complete this tag.  The background colors are from Tim Holtz's Distressed Inks.  You might not see it too well - but I used the Embossing techinque on this tag and some glitter too!!

The back of this tag has my Happy Birthday message for my sister!  I used a Memory Box die for the side design.  Tim Holtz Music tape is fun to use to show my sister I am singing " Happy Birthday" to her- sort of....
