Sweet Storybook

I have been playing with the new stamp set from Stampin Up- Sweet Storybook!  This is such an adorable set.  I used Spellbinder's Grand Dome dies by Becca Feeken to make this card.

I love the tunnel effect that these dies make.  Can you see the little mice- I used 4 of them.  The butterfly is from Lawn Fawn- one of my favorite.

The picture above shows the stamp set.  I didn't use any of the sentiments but they are cute too! I wanted an anniversary card so I ended up typing a sentiment out.

I did make a second card but this time I did a tri fold type card.  It still has the tunnel effect but it is not as 3D as the first card.  I don't know how I am going to use it so I have not added any sentiment.

Just love these little mice!  The stamps and dies are so easy to use! This is a picture of the front of the cards.

Below is the first inside picture.

Here is the card fully opened.  I have plenty of space for the sentiment. I could even use the very back of the card too!

So glad I had time to make these cards.  It's going to be a busy week.  Our grandson, Ezra is here for the week.  He is attending a basketball camp at Bowdoin College.  We aren't  used to having a 10 year old living with us.  But it's been fun. I hope everyone has a fun day!!

Summer 2018

The craft fair is over and I can finally take a breather and enjoy our garden!  I had to share just a couple of pictures of some of the flowers that have finally opened up!  It is starting to feel like summer... a little bit!

The craft fair was a lot of fun!  So much so that we are looking into doing another fair this fall.  The Spring fair we just did wasn't heavily attended so the organizers are going to do the next one in May of next year.  I think that is a great idea since it will be before Mother's Day.   We met a lot of nice people- customers and vendors!  That is what made this fair so much fun!

Here are a couple more cards that I made for the fair-  I am not sure why....but I seem to have a thing for castles and dinosaurs!  I just love making them!

This is the U fold card or Bridge card.  The dinosaur is Punch art but the little Princess is a Magnolia stamp.

This card was a larger card but it still folded up for mailing.

Here's another favorite card-

I made a Tower Card using Graphic 45's Fair Dust collection.  I love this collection!  You can't tell but I used a Wobble to attach the center fairy.  It means that she moves back and forth.  Love it!

This one closed for mailing too!

This card is a fun shaker card made with Spellbinder's new collection.  This die can be used with the Grand Dome die.  But I used it on its own for this shaker card.

I will leave you with a picture of our set up at the Spring Fair!  Can't wait to do the next one!  Oh, the guy in the middle is my brother in law, Russ!  He was great in helping us to set up!  It took us 2 hours to get it set up the way we wanted it to look.  Thanks, Russ, for all your help!!

Spring Craft Fair

I have been busy working on projects for the Spring Craft Fair at the Italian Heritage Center this coming weekend!  My sister's and I are excited to participate for the first time.  It should be fun to see what will sell and to meet people at the fair.  I can't wait!

I used Stampin Up's Apron die to make the boxes above.  I plan to add some candy to these boxes.  They are so cute and fun to make!!  You can visit the link below to find Cindy's wonderful directions!!

Here are a few more projects I am working on!

The paper is from the Seafarer's Collection from Authentique.  I used the stamps from Stampin Up's High Tide set.

I also used Karen Burniston's Twisted Panel dies to make this pop up card.  I love how easy she makes it with these dies!

The card below has been on my craft table for awhile.  The card itself is from Heartfelt Creations fold out cards.  I was at a loss as how to decorate it.  You can see that there is quite a lot of space to use for any sentiment.  I finally found a sentiment that I loved and used a bunch of different dies to decorate.

The back side of the fold out is this fence.  I could add a sentiment here too but decided to leave it plain.

This one took awhile to finish but I love how it almost reads like a book.  It folds nicely to be mailed too.!!

The sun has just started to peek through so I think I will go outside and walk through my garden.  The flowers are just starting to open.  Next time I will try and share a few pictures!  Hope you have a fun day!!
