Friends are Forever!

One of my friends fell and broke her ankle!  She is going to have to go to rehab for a while to get help with recovery.  I was in the middle of making another, yes another, Cascading card and decide it might be nice to send one to her!  I am hoping this will cheer her up !  She will be out of work for at least a month! 

Here is a side view!  I love the color of the papers I used- It is almost a Coral color! I think this would make a great wedding card too!  I used a Memory Box die for some of the edging.

I recently purchased dies from Heartfelt Creations!  You can use them to make a great Gate card.  But I really love how they look on this Cascading card.  I am sure I will use them again.  Look below to see the actual dies.

Princess Birthday

A co-worker asked me to make a birthday card for her niece!  Anytime I can make a card for a little girl - I am thrilled!  This one was fun! I discovered the cascading card is a great base for a Castle! The turrets are glued to the edges of the card.  The little face in the window is Tilda!  I saw a card on Pinterest that used the Cascading birthday message.  You will find instructions for the Cascading card on this blog too!  I loved it! Shower Cascading Card!

Yup! Another Cascading card.  In fact, I am in the process of uploading a short tutorial to demonstrate how to make a Cascading card!  This one I edged with Martha Stewarts edger punch.  I cut off the scallops so the animals would show a little more.  The Giraffe and monkey are Sizzix dies - the lion is made from the SU owl punch and a scallop circle.  I used several Memory box dies on this card- They are my new favorite dies!  More pics-

Pink Valentine's Day card!

Another Cascading card!

Well, I am still making Valentine's Day Cards... yes, another Cascading card!   Now, my new favorite technique!  I added a pink Rosette at the back, just cus I like them so much!  The flower stamp is from Stampin UP - the new Mixed Punch set of stamps and I used the Blossom punch to cut out.  For the front of the card - I used one of the Memory Box dies.  I think the are fabulous!  Some of the very small flowers are on an acrylic strip so they appear to be floating- not sure you can see that. Treetop Owls!

Ok, I am obsessed!  I am loving the Cascading card that is the new Technique Lover's challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers!  Holly brought us Sonia's great new technique!  I love it!  I am still working on my Valentine's Day cards.  I think my Grandson might like this one!  I used Stampin Up's owl punch and a Spellbinder's die to make some of the branches.  I don't remember the name of that particular die.  This picture shows a tealight in the bottom of the card.  I cut away some of the card stock to make it look like limbs of a tree.  A little bit of work but I like the way it came out. The directions to make the base are on my previous posts for Valentine Day cards.  Take a look at more pictures -
