Flower Series II
I am home this morning just waiting to head to the Dentist to have a tooth pulled!!! Yikes! It is NOT my favorite thing to do! So, to keep me from thinking about it tooo much...I thought I would post another Card in a Box- the Flower Series. I made this and sent it to a friend who is recovering from surgery. This is the Petite box that I have posted a link to the instructions in one of my previous posts. I love them because they can fit in a standard envelope.
I love the Bunny die from Impression Obsession! The Bunnies come in a bunch of different poses. They are just small enough to fit on these type of cards. You can hide them anywhere. I have their cat dies too! The flowers stamp and punch is from Stampin Up.
Here is another shot of the card where I added a little "Get Well" sentiment. I used Graphic 45 paper to decorate the box. Yes, it is my favorite paper! Well, that is it... Guess I better head to the Dentist....boohoo...! Can't wait to have this over with!!! Bye!

Friend's Birthday Card
My Mother asked me to make a card to celebrate her friends 90th birthday! I know her friend has been ill lately so I hope this brings her a little bit of cheer! I used Nestabilities to make the lacy oval and the circle Nestabilities for the inside of the lacy oval. I just purchased Spellbinder's crosses dies and I love them. I wished I had them at Easter time. I took all the sizes of crosses and brushed them with different colors of Tim Holtz's Distressed ink and then layered them with dimensionals. I love the effect! The flowers are from SU's Fifth Avenue Floral stamps. I stamped them in Tim Holtz's Worn Lipstick and also brushed the edges with the ink as well. The center is colored with Copic markers in yellow and orange. Then brushed with Distressed ink in Marigold. Martha Stewart's butterfly in My Mind's Eye paper was used to finish off my card. The background paper is from My Mind's Eye too! My new favorite decorative paper! The sentiment on the front of the card is from Stampin Up's All Holidays Stamp. Here are a few more pictures!

Office Valentine Heart Boxes
I had been looking for something to make for my staff for Valentine's Day and Valita's Heart boxes were just the ticket! Her directions were soooo easy and fun to make!! You can find the directions here-
http://valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com/ The black on red look is something I really love! I used 5 different Stampin Up stamps- Baroque Motif and background stamps- Print Pattern & Floral. The 2 remaining stamps are from the Stampin Up wheels that I removed from the wheels and added tacky glue to the back- I find this is easy to use than the wheels. I don't know the names of those wheels. I plan to add a little tissue paper and candy to the boxes. Thanks! Valita, for your fabulous idea!!

Middle Step Card Valentine!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sfEcyuMFu0 I used MS's edger for the sides of the card. Is it call a double loop? These are a couple of my favorite Tilda's!! The standing Tilda was holding a sprig of Mistletoe! I was able to cut if off and have her hold a sign! I also used Spellbinder's heart dies. I cut the middle one's center out so you can see thru to the hearts in the back. Here is a side view-
