Easter Fun!

I just couldn't make one Easter Basket!   I love using Sizzix's Scallop die to make these baskets!  It is so easy to do!   I made enough for my co-workers and one for my Grandson, too!  Now I just need to fill them with goodies.  Check out my previous post to see the link to my Sister's basket ( It's her Sizzix die that I borrowed) and the video instructions!  Here is an Easter Parade of Baskets!

They are all just a little different!

Bunnies and more bunnies!

I love the pearls!

I love this Graphic45 Paper!

This one has a botanical feel to it!

Who doesn't like purple!

I showed this one before but added the fencing!

Making Easter Baskets makes me think that Spring is just around the corner!  No more snowstorms, please!  I hope your Easter is fun!

This Years Easter Basket

\

I have been busy working on my Vertical Paper Bag Album- I can't believe how much time has passed since I last posted on my blog!  We are almost at month end!  I loved my sister, Rochelle's adorable Easter basket!  It is made from Sizzix's Scalloped envelope.  I borrowed it from her to make my basket.   I love making it but it is even more fun decorating it! Rochelle has the link to the video instructions on her blog.    Check out Rochelle's basket on the link below-

I have started collecting different cake pedestals.  I liked how Rochelle used her basket as a centerpiece on a cake pedestal!  I may use this for my centerpiece at Easter.  I haven't put the Easter grass in it yet- I will use either pink or green and fill it with Easter candy.   Here are a few more pictures-

Toilet Paper Album

This is just a short video to show you the Toilet Paper Album I had so much fun making!  It makes a great gift to give someone!  Check out the great video instructions from Ginger at My Sisters Scrapper-

I am now going to work on doing another Vertical Paper Bag album of our trip to Disney.  The Toilet Paper Album certainly makes up faster!  But I love how much space you have in the Paper Bag Albums.   Hope you have a great day!

Disney Trip!

We have returned from a week at DisneyWorld!  We had a fabulous time!  Our kids went with us along with my sister, Connie and her husband Russ.  You can see above that we left in a snowstorm!  I wanted to share a few pictures of the beautiful flowers and all the color you see at Disney.

I love this contrast of the purple against the white background  This is what you see as you enter Magic Kingdom.  We spent alot of time at Magic Kingdom! It was our Grandson's first visit to Disney!  What fun to see him enjoy his time at the parks.

Here are a few more pictures of the beautiful colors of Disney.

There were flowers everywhere!  You never knew what you would see until you turned a corner!  I loved the colors of the marching band too!  It is amazing to go from a snow white winter to such beautiful color in Florida.  It makes me yearn for our Springtime here in Maine.  Disney is preparing for their flower show event.  We could see some of the topiary that is so amazing - I will leave you with a picture of Mickey and Minnie!  I am working on some albums to show some of the pictures I took of Disney.  I will share some photos soon!

Paper Bag Album

Oh, what fun I have been having!  I love, love this Paper Bag AlbumYou have to check out Ginger's FABULOUS video tutorial on My Sisters Scrapper!  She does a wonderful job of laying out the instructions in a 5 part video series.  It really is easy to do if you follow her instructions!
http://mysistersscrapper.com/2013/01/vertical-paper-bag-mini-album-series-getting-started/

Here are some pictures of my album.  I have not yet finished with all the embellishments but I couldn't resist showing you the inside of the album.  We are headed to Disney shortly for a vacation - I plan on making an album of our trip!  This all started with a PAPER BAG!!!  It is hard to believe.!!!  The right side has a fold out flap.  I can add pictures, journaling and more tags!  I can't wait to add some embellishments!

The left side in yellow is a pocket to slide a tag into!
I love the little  pockets you can make

The right side is call "Waterfall"

I will take pictures once I have finished this album!!!

Engagement!

Valentine's Day is over but I wanted to make a romantic card for my nephew and his new fiance!  I used Martha Stewart's punch around the page for the background.  The silhouette is from Cheery Lynn Designs as is the ornate heart that surrounds them.  I used a Spellbinder's die ( what is it called?)  with silver paper for the center.

Here is a shot of the back of the card- This is an older Stampin Up stamp( can't remember the name of this one either)- that I love!

I am so happy for both of them!!!  I haven't made an engagement card in ages!!

Secret Boxes

Well, the storm is finally over and the sun is shining!  I got out of work early on Friday and we didn't even open on Saturday!   What a storm!  But it did give me plenty of time in my studio to make these cute Secret Boxes!  I love the size and how cute they are when they are open.  It gives you lots of options for decorating.

I saw Norma's Secret box on Pinterest and was inspired to try my own! She has a link to the tutorial that is on Splitcoast Stampers.  Check out Norma's blog here -

Here is the link to the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.  Heather does a great job in her video-

I thought I would show you a couple of pictures of our sun room after the big storm.  The wind was terrific during the storm.  We did get 31.9 inches of snow in this storm.  But the drifting was what was amazing!  That is a snow drift that goes UP our sliding doors.  Yikes!  It looks like an Igloo!!

We usually don't get any snow on our porch!  We won't be sitting out there enjoying the sun much today!  Tom is going to have to shovel it out!!   I can't wait for Spring to come!!!
